“TinkTookTee DTorJai on the Go” Every Day, Expanding Collection Routes from Ayutthaya to Bangkok in Partnership with Leading Partners and Choosing to Receive a Privilege from 8 Leading Brands When You Discard e-Waste
In an era where technology is with us from the moment we wake up until we go to sleep, electronic waste (e-waste) has become one of the fastest-growing environmental challenges worldwide. As people replace smartphones and IT devices more frequently, the lifespan of these gadgets is getting shorter and shorter. Despite the availability of many drop-off points, a large amount of e-waste is still stored at home, mixed with general waste, or recycled improperly. To mark International E-Waste Day 2025, True Corporation is stepping up its efforts by joining forces with leading partners across various industries to advance its “pick-up at your doorstep” concept. Through the “TinkTookTee DTorJai on the Go” initiative, True is rolling out a convenient on tour service, expanding collection routes from Ayutthaya to Bangkok and surrounding areas. The goal is to make proper e-waste disposal easy and accessible for people in residential communities, educational institutions, and public transportation hubs, allowing them to dispose right without having to leave home or travel far.
Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Head of Sustainability Division of True Corporation Plc. said that “E-waste is rapidly becoming a global challenge that requires collaboration across all sectors. The digital devices we use every day, if not properly managed, can turn into a long-term environmental burden. So far, we have collected and processed over 1.99 million pieces of e-waste for recycling in compliance with international standards, and we continue to move towards our goal of ‘Zero e-Waste to Landfill’. This year, we are taking a more proactive approach with the launch of ‘TinkTookTee DTorJai on the Go’, a mobile collection service that brings e-waste pickup directly to people’s doorsteps. This initiative makes it easier and more convenient for individuals, organizations, and businesses to properly dispose of their e-waste. We started with a pilot in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and are now expanding to key locations across Bangkok and the metropolitan area. In addition to its ongoing collaboration with SK Tes Thailand and ALL NOW Logistics which have been supporting the transportation and proper recycling of e-waste, True Corporation is expanding its network of partnerships with leading organizations across various industries.
